(Ocimum kilimandscharicum x basilicum)
One of our very favorite plants. Gorgeous lavender to purple flower spikes are adored by pollinators - especially honeybees. We planted this for our honeybees in 2019, and every time we walked past the plant you could just hear it buzzing! The best part is that it's a sterile hybrid that won't seed seed, so it flowers all season long without deadheading. While it can be used as a culinary herb, we treat it more like an ornamental. Fabulous planted throughout your vegetable garden, in borders, and cut for bouquet filler.
