Cucumis sativus. Introduced in 1924, this heirloom pickle was developed by the National Pickle Packers Association and Michigan State University. Vigorous vines yield wide, black spined fruits all season long. Pick as small as 2-3” long for baby dills or gherkins, or full sized at 5-6”. Also suitable for slicing / salads.
